HR Administrators for HR Service

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for two HR administrators for HR service with a focus on support!

We are looking for someone who wants to provide support and assistance to the managers and employees of Malmö City. As an HR administrator in our support team, we offer developing tasks in a significant and exciting operation. In your role, you will primarily provide support and assistance regarding employment and salary issues related to our HR system, both in writing and over the phone. You will also work with quality assurance and corrections of salaries.

To be a good support for those who contact us, you need to continuously keep yourself updated on salary, laws, and agreements, as well as be skilled at searching for information.

Qualifications

A good reception is very important, which is why we are looking for someone who has an interest in talking to other people, is a team player, and enjoys helping out. A positive attitude is a given for you, which is why you approach challenges with commitment and do what is necessary to solve a task in the best way. You find it easy to learn new things and to convey information to others. You are also good at collaborating and can easily adapt to changes while meeting strict deadlines.

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education equivalent to 3 years.
• Relevant post-secondary education in HR or payroll, or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience in the administrative field.
• Experience of independent work with HR administration including payroll administration.
• Good familiarity with personnel administrative systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience in HR support.
• Work experience in the public sector.

About the Workplace

HR service is Malmö City's centralized operational activity within HR and is part of the common HR function within Malmö City. We are part of the Service Administration with 2,000 employees. The Service Administration is for the city's 28,000 employees, and together we work for the best of the city. HR service has four main sections, where the position is placed in the section for Education and Support. The section is responsible for support via phone and email, as well as training in our HR systems and other learning support. The main target groups are managers, employees, and HR departments in the city, but we are also an entry point for other authorities such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

With Malmö City's operations in focus, the Service Administration contributes to a modern city for all Malmö residents. We are divided into four departments and offer our customers everything from transportation services to IT and responding to citizens in Malmö City's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö City's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food.
